On the sand beside the brook
Whitish moonlight is pouring in.
The dark village is welcoming the broad day-light.
The hut for a melon field and apple trees
Shadowed by the dark wears the white clothes,
And lofty tall corn-stalks and comb-trees
Are lining up at the vegetable garden beside the hedge
Fireflies in the grass-bush in the early evening
Are disappearing into the moonlight,
And the whitish night silently entreats a sound sleep.
